Vibble Law Enforcement Data Request Guide

This Guide explains how law enforcement agencies and competent authorities may request user data from Vibble in a lawful, secure, and proportionate manner.

1. Introduction

Vibble cooperates with verified law enforcement agencies while protecting user rights and complying with applicable privacy laws. We do not provide direct or bulk access to our systems and do not implement “backdoors”.

2. Accepted Legal Process

Depending on jurisdiction and data requested, we may require:

  • Subpoenas or equivalent for basic subscriber data.
  • Court orders for certain non-content information.
  • Search warrants or equivalent for content data (posts, DMs, media).
  • Emergency disclosure requests in imminent threat scenarios.
  • MLAT requests or letters rogatory for cross-border cases.

3. Types of Information

  • Basic Subscriber Data: Username, display name, email address, signup date, signup IP (where available).
  • Non-Content / Metadata: Login timestamps, IP logs, device IDs, follower/following relationships, public interactions.
  • Content Data: Posts, direct messages, media and attachments, where stored and legally accessible.

4. Information We Do Not Provide

Vibble cannot provide data we do not collect, cannot technically access (e.g., certain client-side data), or are legally prohibited from disclosing.

5. Emergency Disclosures

In emergencies involving imminent risk to life or serious harm, we may disclose limited information without standard legal process, consistent with applicable law. Requests must:

  • Clearly describe the nature of the emergency.
  • Identify the targeted user(s) and data requested.
  • Be submitted from an official law enforcement channel.

We may preserve data for a limited period (typically 90 days, extendable once) while the requesting authority obtains the necessary legal process. Preservation requests should:

  • Identify the account(s) precisely.

  • Specify the data to be preserved.

Law enforcement agencies should submit requests from official email domains to:
