Friendium Marketplace & Commerce Rules

These Marketplace & Commerce Rules govern all buying, selling, trading, promotional activity, and commercial interactions conducted on or facilitated through Friendium. They establish standards to ensure lawful commerce, consumer protection, fraud prevention, and platform integrity.

1. Purpose & Scope

Friendium enables individuals, businesses, and organizations to engage in lawful commercial activity. This policy applies to all marketplace listings, peer-to-peer sales, service offers, promotional posts, and commerce-related interactions, whether paid or unpaid.

Use of Friendium for commercial purposes constitutes acceptance of these rules and all applicable laws and regulations.

2. Eligibility to Participate in Commerce

To engage in marketplace or commercial activity, users must:

  • Maintain a valid, authentic Friendium account
  • Comply with real-name and identity policies
  • Be legally permitted to enter binding agreements
  • Comply with local, national, and international commerce laws

Friendium reserves the right to restrict or revoke marketplace access at any time.

3. Permitted Goods & Services

Users may offer lawful goods and services, including:

  • Physical consumer goods
  • Digital products and services
  • Event tickets and experiences (where legally transferable)
  • Professional and freelance services

4. Prohibited Goods & Services

The following are strictly prohibited:

  • Illegal drugs, controlled substances, or drug paraphernalia
  • Weapons, explosives, or weapon components
  • Stolen goods or goods of uncertain origin
  • Counterfeit, pirated, or infringing products
  • Human trafficking, sexual services, or exploitation
  • Financial scams, investment fraud, or pyramid schemes
  • Medical products requiring prescriptions without authorization

5. Listing Accuracy & Disclosure

Sellers must provide accurate, complete, and truthful information, including:

  • Clear description of the product or service
  • Accurate pricing, fees, and taxes
  • Condition, limitations, and restrictions
  • Shipping, delivery, or fulfillment terms

Misrepresentation or omission of material facts is prohibited.

6. Pricing, Payments & Transactions

All transactions must be conducted transparently and in good faith. Users are responsible for:

  • Complying with payment processor rules
  • Handling taxes, duties, and reporting obligations
  • Ensuring secure payment practices

Friendium does not act as the merchant of record unless explicitly stated.

7. Shipping, Delivery & Fulfillment

Sellers must:

  • Ship goods within stated timeframes
  • Provide tracking where applicable
  • Communicate delays or issues promptly
  • Ensure lawful cross-border shipping where offered

8. Returns, Refunds & Dispute Resolution

Sellers are responsible for clearly stating refund and return policies. Friendium may intervene where:

  • Fraud or deception is suspected
  • Multiple consumer complaints arise
  • Legal or regulatory obligations require action

9. Fraud, Scams & Abuse Prevention

Prohibited conduct includes:

  • Advance-fee scams or non-delivery schemes
  • Impersonation of brands or sellers
  • False escrow or payment requests
  • Off-platform payment coercion

10. Business Accounts & Commercial Pages

Businesses operating on Friendium must:

  • Accurately represent their legal identity
  • Comply with consumer protection laws
  • Maintain updated contact information
  • Adhere to advertising and disclosure rules

11. User Reporting & Enforcement

Users may report suspicious or harmful commerce activity. Friendium may take enforcement actions including:

  • Listing removal
  • Account restrictions
  • Suspension or termination
  • Referral to law enforcement

12. Platform Liability Disclaimer

Friendium provides marketplace functionality as a platform service only. Friendium and Nexa-Group are not parties to transactions between users and disclaim liability for losses, disputes, or damages arising from commerce.

13. Regulatory Compliance

Users are solely responsible for compliance with:

  • Consumer protection laws
  • Taxation and reporting obligations
  • Import/export regulations
  • Licensing and permitting requirements

14. Monitoring, Audits & Risk Controls

Friendium may monitor marketplace activity to:

  • Detect fraud and abuse patterns
  • Ensure policy compliance
  • Protect users and platform integrity

15. Policy Updates

These rules may be updated to reflect legal, regulatory, or operational changes. Continued use of marketplace features constitutes acceptance of revisions.
