Friendium Account Restrictions & Feature Limitations Policy
This policy explains how Friendium applies temporary or permanent restrictions to user accounts, limits access to features, and enforces proportional controls to protect platform integrity, user safety, and community trust.
1. Purpose & Scope
Friendium is designed as a real-identity social network that prioritizes trust, accountability, and healthy social interaction. Account restrictions and feature limitations are applied when user behavior poses risks to other users, platform stability, or legal compliance.
These measures allow Friendium and its parent company, Nexa-Group, to intervene early, correct harmful behavior, prevent escalation, and reduce the need for permanent enforcement actions such as account termination.
2. Guiding Enforcement Principles
- Proportionality: Restrictions are scaled to the severity and frequency of violations.
- Progressive Enforcement: Warnings and limited controls are favored before permanent action.
- User Safety: Immediate restrictions may be applied where harm is likely.
- Platform Integrity: Controls protect against misuse, manipulation, or abuse.
- Legal Compliance: Restrictions may be mandated by law or regulatory obligations.
3. Types of Account Restrictions
Friendium may impose one or more of the following restrictions depending on context:
3.1 Temporary Feature Limitations
- Posting or commenting limits
- Reaction, tagging, or mention restrictions
- Private messaging limitations
- Group creation or event hosting suspension
- Profile visibility reduction
3.2 Interaction Restrictions
- Blocking the ability to message non-connections
- Disabling friend requests temporarily
- Limiting comments on public posts
- Restricting participation in public discussions
3.3 Visibility & Distribution Controls
In certain cases, Friendium may reduce the visibility or distribution of content without removing it entirely. These measures are used to limit amplification while preserving context and due process.
- Reduced feed ranking
- Search discoverability limits
- Group or event recommendation suppression
3.4 Account-Level Restrictions

5. Duration of Restrictions
Restriction durations vary based on severity, user history, and risk level:
- Short-term: Hours or days (cool-down periods)
- Medium-term: Weeks or months
- Indefinite: Until compliance steps are completed
6. Escalation & Repeat Violations
Repeated or escalated violations may result in:
- Longer restriction periods

- Referral to the Repeat Offender Policy
7. User Notification & Transparency
When feasible, users will be notified of:
- The nature of the restriction
- Affected features

8. Appeals & Review
Users may appeal restrictions through Friendium’s Appeals & Review Process. Appeals are reviewed by trained moderation teams and may involve human oversight, contextual analysis, and additional evidence review.
