Brand Verification Program

The Vibble Brand Verification Program provides organizations, businesses, and public-facing entities with an authenticated badge that confirms their legitimacy. This program prevents impersonation, builds trust, and enables secure communication with audiences.

1. Purpose of Brand Verification

Brand Verification ensures that companies, media outlets, NGOs, government bodies, and professional organizations are represented by authentic, authorized accounts. This prevents impersonation, fraud, misinformation, and unauthorized communications.

Verified organizations receive a Gold Badge and additional security, communication, and administrative features.

2. Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for brand verification, an organization must meet all of the following criteria:

  • Be a legally registered business, nonprofit, media outlet, or public-sector entity.
  • Provide verifiable documentation confirming ownership and operational legitimacy.
  • Maintain an official website, domain email, or recognized public listing.
  • Demonstrate consistent public activity relevant to the organization’s purpose.
  • Have no history of fraud, impersonation, or platform manipulation.

3. Required Documentation

Organizations must submit valid official documents for verification:

  • Business registration certificate or official government-issued entity record
  • Proof of domain ownership (DNS, WHOIS, or verified email)
  • Authorized representative ID and contact information
  • Trademark or brand ownership documentation (if applicable)
  • Corporate social media links (optional but recommended)

4. Verification Process

The verification process includes the following steps:

  1. Submit verification request through the Vibble Verification Portal.
  2. Upload required documentation and complete the authentication questionnaire.
  3. Undergo internal review by Vibble’s Integrity Team.
  4. Receive approval, rejection, or a request for additional information.
  5. Upon approval, the Gold Verification Badge is granted to the organization’s primary account.

5. Badge Benefits & Features

Verified brands gain access to enhanced platform tools:

  • Gold Verification Badge on all primary and affiliated accounts
  • Advanced impersonation protection and priority moderation
  • Higher visibility in search, trends, and recommended feeds
  • Analytics upgrades including brand mentions and keyword insights
  • Ability to create verified sub-accounts for employees or subsidiaries
  • Access to the Enterprise Messaging Suite (for announcements & crisis updates)
  • Preferential support from Brand Operations

6. Ongoing Verification Obligations

To maintain verification status, organizations must:

  • Keep business registration and contact details up to date
  • Respond to Vibble verification audits if requested
  • Comply with all brand and advertising policies
  • Avoid deceptive or misleading branding practices
  • Use verification badges only as described; external use requires permission

7. Misuse of Brand Verification

Vibble may remove verification for:

  • Submitting fraudulent documents
  • Engaging in misinformation or impersonation
  • Allowing unauthorized persons to run the verified account
  • Changing brand identity without updating verification records
  • Violations of Ads, Sponsorship, or Safety policies

8. Verification for Subsidiaries & Employee Accounts

Large organizations may extend verification to connected accounts:

  • Department/Sub-brand Accounts: Verified through organizational linkage.
  • Employee Accounts: Optional badge showing affiliation (requires company approval).
  • Press & Communications Teams: May receive a specialized "Official Communications" label.

9. Loss of Verification

Verification may be revoked if:

  • The organization fails an audit
  • Ownership of the brand changes without notification
  • The brand dissolves or becomes inactive
  • Repeated violations occur under the account

10. Appeals Process

Organizations denied verification or stripped of their badge may file an appeal within 30 days. Appeals are reviewed by Vibble’s Verification and Integrity Oversight Team.
