Spam & Platform Manipulation Policy

This policy defines prohibited spam, inauthentic behavior, automation misuse, and manipulation tactics that undermine conversation integrity, distort trends, or exploit Vibble’s systems.

1. Purpose

Vibble protects the platform from spam, coordinated manipulation, malicious automation, and any behavior intended to artificially inflate visibility, deceive users, or distort authentic public conversation.

2. What Counts as Spam?

Examples of prohibited spam include:

  • Posting identical or near-identical content repeatedly across multiple posts
  • High-frequency posting designed to flood timelines or replies
  • Link spam, affiliate code spam, crypto-promos, or unrelated commercial promotions
  • Posting misleading URLs, malware links, or phishing attempts
  • Automated follow/unfollow behavior intended to inflate visibility

3. Platform Manipulation

Platform manipulation includes any coordinated or inauthentic activity that attempts to influence conversations, algorithms, or public opinion through deceptive means.

  • Coordinated posting from networks of fake or automated accounts
  • Artificial boosting of trends or hashtags (“trend gaming”)
  • Cross-platform brigading or mass harassment campaigns
  • Purchased engagement (likes, reposts, comments, followers)
  • Inauthentic account creation for manipulation or political interference

4. Commercial & Financial Spam

  • Unsolicited promotions, MLM schemes, or deceptive income claims
  • Impersonation of brands for scams or phishing campaigns
  • Fraudulent financial promotions, pump-and-dump schemes, or investment fraud

5. Automation Misuse

Automation must comply with Vibble’s API Terms and Bot Policies. Prohibited automation includes:

  • Mass mentions or replies using automated tools
  • Bulk posting across threads or trending topics
  • Automated evasion of rate limits
  • Bot networks designed to simulate human engagement

6. Enforcement

Depending on severity, Vibble may:

  • Remove spam posts
  • Shadow-limit the account’s reach
  • Apply posting or reply restrictions
  • Revoke API keys or developer access
  • Suspend or permanently ban involved accounts
  • Disable financial features or monetization

7. Reporting & Appeals

Users may report spam or manipulation from post menus. If your content was misclassified, you may appeal through:
