Vibble Community Guidelines

These Community Guidelines ensure that Vibble remains a safe, real-time conversation platform for everyone. By using Vibble, you agree to follow these rules in all posts, replies, quote-posts, reposts, messages, lists, Spaces (live audio), and any other features we launch.

1. Introduction & Scope

Vibble is a global microblogging and real-time conversation service operated by Nexa Group. Our goal is to enable open discussion, news, commentary, entertainment, and personal expression while protecting users from harm, abuse, and exploitation.

These Community Guidelines apply to all content and behavior on Vibble, including but not limited to: text posts, replies, quote-posts, reposts, profile bios, usernames, display names, media (images, GIFs, videos), Spaces / live audio, direct messages (where applicable), hashtags, lists, and linked content where it is clearly associated with abusive use of Vibble.

Violations may result in content removal, restricted visibility, feature limitations, temporary suspensions, permanent bans, or escalation to law enforcement, depending on severity and legal obligations. These Guidelines work together with our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Safety & Enforcement policies.

2. Fundamental Principles

All users must follow these core principles:

  • Safety: Do not put others at physical, psychological, or emotional risk.
  • Respect: Engage in debate and criticism without harassment or dehumanization.
  • Integrity: Do not manipulate, deceive, impersonate, or exploit others.
  • Compliance: Follow applicable laws and all Vibble policies at all times.

3. Harassment, Bullying & Targeted Abuse

Vibble does not tolerate harassment, targeted abuse, or coordinated attacks against individuals or groups. We differentiate between legitimate criticism or debate and abusive behavior that is intended to shame, threaten, or silence people.

Prohibited behavior includes, but is not limited to:

  • Direct insults, slurs, degrading language, or persistent name-calling targeting an individual.
  • Coordinated harassment campaigns, brigading, dogpiling, or mass-reporting efforts.
  • Threats of harm to someone’s life, safety, property, employment, or reputation.
  • Encouraging others to harass, stalk, or attack a person on or off Vibble.
  • Posting hostile content at a user repeatedly after clearly being asked to stop.
  • Posting manipulated or edited content intended to humiliate, shame, or degrade a person.

Repeated harassment, especially when directed at protected groups or minors, may result in immediate escalated enforcement, including permanent account suspension.

4. Hate Speech & Protected Characteristics

Vibble prohibits hate speech: content that attacks, degrades, or dehumanizes people based on protected characteristics. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Race or ethnicity
  • National origin
  • Religion or belief
  • Sex, gender, gender identity, or sexual orientation
  • Disability or serious disease
  • Immigration or refugee status
  • Age (with special focus on minors)

Prohibited hate content includes:

  • Slurs, epithets, or dehumanizing comparisons (e.g., calling a group “animals” or “vermin”).
  • Calls for segregation, exclusion, or removal of civil/human rights from protected groups.
  • Promotion of extremist ideology that targets protected groups.
  • Glorification of genocide, ethnic cleansing, or hate-based violence.

Context (e.g., quoting hate speech to condemn it, educational commentary) is considered during moderation, but may still be restricted in reach to protect users from repeated exposure.

5. Violence, Threats & Dangerous Behavior

Vibble does not allow content that glorifies, incites, or threatens physical harm. This applies to individuals, groups, and public officials.

Strictly prohibited:

  • Credible threats of violence, including “I will hurt you” or “We are coming for you.”
  • Wishes of serious harm (“you should die”, “hope someone kills you”).
  • Promotion of terrorism, violent extremism, or recruitment to violent organizations.
  • Detailed instructions on committing violence or constructing weapons.
  • Content encouraging dangerous challenges that risk serious injury or death.
  • Stalking, doxxing, or behavior intended to facilitate physical harm.

Content involving graphic depictions of violence is additionally regulated under our Sensitive Media Policy and may be hidden behind warning screens or fully removed in some jurisdictions.

6. Sexual Content, Adult Material & Protection of Minors

Vibble is not a pornography platform and has zero-tolerance for any sexual content involving minors or content that sexualizes children in any way.

Strictly prohibited:

  • Any sexual content involving minors (real or AI-generated / synthetic).
  • Sexualized comments, advances, or fantasies involving minors.
  • Grooming behavior, coercion, or attempts to move minors to private channels.
  • Non-consensual intimate images (“revenge porn” or similar).
  • Explicit sexual acts in media, including visible genitals or explicit focus on sexual activity.

Non-explicit adult content (e.g., suggestive images, partial nudity) may be restricted, labeled as sensitive, or disallowed depending on context and regional law, and must never involve minors.

7. Child Safety & Underage Users

Users under 13 are not permitted to use Vibble. We apply stronger protections for all minors and treat child safety violations as the highest enforcement priority.

  • Suspected underage accounts may be restricted or removed pending age verification.
  • Any CSAM (Child Sexual Abuse Material) or clear exploitation is reported to child-safety agencies and law enforcement.
  • Accounts involved in grooming or predatory behavior are permanently banned.

8. Illegal & Regulated Activities

Vibble must comply with laws in the jurisdictions where it operates. You may not use Vibble to promote, organize, or facilitate illegal activity.

Prohibited content and behavior includes:

  • Sale, promotion, or distribution of illegal drugs or controlled substances.
  • Sale of weapons, explosives, or regulated items without lawful authorization.
  • Human trafficking, sexual exploitation, or coercion.
  • Money laundering, fraud schemes, or phishing campaigns.
  • Instructions for hacking, malware distribution, or unauthorized system access.
  • Buying or selling stolen goods or payment instruments.

In some cases, accounts may be reported to relevant authorities if activity appears criminal, organized, or threatening to public safety.

9. Misinformation, Health & Public Interest

Vibble supports open debate and discussion, including political and scientific disagreement. However, we may limit or remove content when misinformation is likely to cause significant offline harm, especially during elections, public-health emergencies, or crises.

Content that may be removed, labeled, or down-ranked includes:

  • False claims about voting dates, locations, or eligibility intended to suppress participation.
  • Demonstrably false medical claims that could lead to serious harm.
  • Crisis-related content that encourages panic, violence, or harmful behavior.
  • Fabricated “official” statements that impersonate authorities or institutions.

In many cases, we will apply labels, context cards, or reduced distribution rather than immediate removal, especially where public-interest or newsworthiness applies.

10. Spam, Bots & Platform Manipulation

Vibble prohibits behaviors that manipulate conversation, mislead users, or degrade the quality of the platform.

Not allowed:

  • Mass-creating accounts, botnets, or coordinated automation to inflate reach or harass users.
  • Buying or selling followers, likes, reposts, or engagement.
  • Posting the same content repeatedly across multiple accounts or timelines.
  • Misleading “clickbait” that links to malware, scams, or deceptive landing pages.
  • Using automation without following our API and Bot policies.

11. Impersonation, Identity & Account Integrity

Users must not impersonate individuals, brands, organizations, or public figures in a way that misleads others. Parody, commentary, and fan accounts are allowed only if clearly labeled and non-deceptive.

Prohibited:

  • Using another person’s real name, photo, or branding to mislead users.
  • Accounts posing as governments, media outlets, or Vibble staff without official verification.
  • Fake “support” or “help” accounts that request passwords, codes, or payment information.

Verified badge and organization verification rules are detailed in our Identity, Verification & Account Authenticity policies.

12. Sensitive Media (Graphic, Violent, Adult)

Certain images and videos may be allowed but restricted behind warning screens or partially blocked in some regions. Our Sensitive Media Policy provides full details.

In general, you must:

  • Label media that may be graphic, violent, or disturbing where tools are provided.
  • Not use sensitive media in profile photos, banners, or unsolicited replies.
  • Avoid posting extremely graphic or gratuitously violent material; this may be removed outright.

13. Enforcement & Consequences

Enforcement is based on severity, user history, context, and potential risk. Possible actions include:

  • Content removal or media masking (with warnings).
  • Limited visibility or down-ranking in search, trends, or recommendations.
  • Feature restrictions (e.g., posting, replies, DMs, Spaces).
  • Temporary account suspensions.
  • Permanent account bans for severe or repeated violations.
  • Referral to law enforcement in cases involving credible threats, CSAM, or serious crime.

Additional details are defined in the Warning & Ban System and Enforcement Guidelines.

14. Reporting & User Tools

Every user plays a role in keeping Vibble safe. You can report posts, profiles, replies, messages, or Spaces directly via in-product tools.

You can also:

  • Block users to prevent them from interacting with you.
  • Mute accounts or specific words/phrases to reduce unwanted content.
  • Adjust safety and content preferences in your account settings.

Reports are reviewed by a combination of automated systems and human reviewers, with priority given to child safety, threats, and severe harm.

15. Appeals & Error Correction

If you believe your content or account was restricted or removed in error, you may submit an appeal through the in-app appeals flow or by contacting our Appeals team. Our Appeals System describes timelines, evidence requirements, and outcomes.

While not all actions are reversible, we are committed to correcting mistakes and improving our systems based on appeal outcomes.

16. Updates to These Guidelines

As Vibble evolves and legal requirements change, these Guidelines will be updated. Major changes will be reflected in our Transparency Reports and, where appropriate, surfaced in-app. Continued use of Vibble after updates constitutes acceptance of the current version.
