Brand & Music Usage Policy

This policy explains how creators may use trademarks, logos, music, sounds, and branded elements on Vexor. It also outlines copyright rules, licensing restrictions, and the consequences of unauthorized usage.

1. Introduction

Vexor supports creative expression and provides tools such as licensed music, sound effects, and branding resources to enhance creator content. To protect creators, rights holders, and the platform, all users must comply with the rules outlined in this policy. Unauthorized use of copyrighted or trademarked materials may result in content removal, demonetization, or account enforcement.

2. Use of Vexor Trademarks & Branding

The Vexor name, logo, brand assets, interface elements, and design language are protected intellectual property. Users may NOT:

  • Use the Vexor logo in merchandise, advertisements, or commercial promotions without written approval.
  • Alter, distort, recreate, or imitate Vexor brand elements.
  • Use “Vexor” in domain names, business names, or product names without authorization.
  • Create third-party tools, extensions, or apps suggesting official partnership with Vexor.
  • Display Vexor branding in misleading, harmful, or inappropriate contexts.

Creators may reference Vexor in a descriptive manner only, such as “Follow me on Vexor”, but may not imply endorsement or affiliation.

3. Music Usage on Vexor

Vexor provides a licensed in-app music library. When using music within the app, creators must follow these rules:

  • You may use music available in Vexor’s in-app sound library.
  • You may NOT upload copyrighted music unless you fully own the rights or have explicit licensing.
  • You may NOT upload songs ripped from streaming services or downloads outside licensed sources.
  • Licensed in-app music may only be used inside Vexor and not exported to external platforms unless permitted.
  • Some songs may be unavailable for commercial accounts due to licensing restrictions.

Music rights holders may restrict usage at any time, and Vexor may mute or block audio to comply with copyright laws.

4. Business & Brand Accounts

Commercial accounts must follow additional licensing laws and music restrictions:

  • Brands may only use music designated for commercial use within the sound library.
  • Popular copyrighted songs typically cannot be used in brand or sponsored content.
  • All sponsored videos must use fully licensed audio suitable for commercial distribution.
  • Brands must comply with global copyright regulations and advertising guidelines.

5. Uploading Your Own Music

You may upload original music ONLY if you meet the following conditions:

  • You composed or produced the track yourself.
  • You own 100 percent of the copyright or have written agreements from all rights holders.
  • You have permission from collaborators, producers, or labels.
  • No samples or copyrighted elements are included without licensing.

By uploading your own audio, you grant Vexor a license to host, distribute, and allow others to use the sound in their videos if you enable remix permissions.

6. Prohibited Music & Sound Usage

The following types of audio are not permitted on Vexor:

  • Copyrighted commercial music without valid licensing rights.
  • Audio downloaded or extracted from Spotify, YouTube, Apple Music, or similar platforms.
  • Music containing hate speech, explicit slurs, or illegal content.
  • Voice recordings including private information without consent.
  • Unauthorized remixes, edits, or covers that infringe copyright.

7. Brand Usage Rules for Creators

Creators collaborating with brands must follow additional rules:

  • Include proper advertising disclosures (#ad, #sponsored) in accordance with regional law.
  • Use only music legally cleared for commercial content.
  • Avoid deceptive, false, or misleading promotional claims.
  • Never impersonate brands, companies, or public figures.
  • Ensure that any third-party trademark use complies with fair-use and licensing requirements.

8. Enforcement & Penalties

Violations of this policy may result in:

  • Muted audio tracks or blocked content due to copyright restrictions.
  • Removal of videos containing unauthorized branding or copyrighted materials.
  • Temporary restrictions on uploads or monetization.
  • Permanent account suspension for repeated or severe violations.
  • Legal claims from copyright owners or trademark holders.

9. Appeals Process

If you believe a video was incorrectly removed or muted due to mistaken copyright detection, you may file an in-app appeal or submit a DMCA counter-notice when appropriate. All appeals are reviewed by Vexor’s Copyright Team.
