This policy explains the rights, tools, and protections available to users on ReelCiety to control interactions, limit unwanted contact, and safeguard their experience through blocking, muting, and restriction mechanisms. These controls are fundamental to user safety, autonomy, and privacy.

1. Purpose & User Empowerment

ReelCiety is built around visual expression and social interaction, but no user is required to tolerate harassment, unwanted attention, or harmful behavior. Blocking, muting, and restriction tools empower users to control their environment without requiring platform intervention in every case.

These rights are designed to be immediate, reversible (where appropriate), and enforceable across all ReelCiety surfaces and features.

2. Blocking Rights

Blocking is the strongest user-controlled safety mechanism available on ReelCiety. When a user blocks another account:

  • The blocked account cannot view the user’s profile or content.
  • The blocked account cannot send messages or interact.
  • Existing interactions may be hidden or removed.
  • The blocked user is not notified of the action.

Blocking is absolute unless reversed by the user. ReelCiety systems enforce blocking across comments, messages, mentions, tags, lives, and future interactions.
