Photo & Video Posting Rules

1. Scope & Applicability

This policy applies to all visual content uploaded or shared on ReelCiety, including but not limited to:

• Photos and image galleries
• Short-form videos, reels, and stories
• Long-form video uploads
• Live-stream thumbnails and previews
• Profile images, banners, and highlights
• Visual media embedded in comments or captions

These rules apply regardless of whether content is public, private, monetized, sponsored, or algorithmically promoted.

ReelCiety’s visual ecosystem is governed by the following principles:

• Safety-first design for users of all ages
• Respect for human dignity and personal rights
• Transparency and accountability in content enforcement
• Compliance with global legal and regulatory frameworks
• Protection of Nexa-Group’s platforms, partners, and advertisers

3. Content Ownership & Upload Responsibility

Users are solely responsible for the visual content they upload. By posting photos or videos, users represent and warrant that:

• They own the content or have legal permission to use it
• The content does not infringe copyrights, trademarks, or personality rights
• The content complies with all applicable laws and platform policies
• The content does not cause foreseeable harm to others

4. Prohibited Visual Content (High-Level)

The following categories of visual content are strictly prohibited and may result in immediate enforcement action:

• Sexual content involving minors or the sexualization of youth
• Graphic violence, gore, or extreme injury imagery
• Non-consensual intimate imagery
• Hate-based imagery or extremist propaganda
• Content promoting terrorism, violence, or criminal acts
• Images designed to deceive, defraud, or impersonate others

5. Harmful, Dangerous & Risky Visual Behavior

Visual content depicting or encouraging dangerous behavior is restricted or prohibited, including:

• Self-harm or suicide depiction
• Extreme stunts or life-threatening challenges
• Drug abuse or unsafe substance use
• Weapon misuse or unsafe handling
• Encouragement of real-world harm

6. Contextual Allowances & Educational Content

Certain visual content that would otherwise be restricted may be allowed when presented in a clear educational, documentary, or journalistic context, such as:

• News reporting
• Historical documentation
• Public interest awareness
• Academic or safety education

Such content may still be subject to age-gating, warning screens, or reduced distribution.

7. Sensitive Visual Content Controls

ReelCiety employs layered controls for sensitive visual media:

• Content warnings and interstitials
• Age-based access restrictions
• Algorithmic downranking
• Limited recommendation eligibility
• Manual review escalation

8. Image & Video Manipulation

Visual content that has been altered, edited, filtered, or enhanced must not:

• Misrepresent real people or events
• Create deceptive narratives
• Impersonate individuals or brands
• Fabricate evidence or wrongdoing

9. Metadata, Captions & Context

Captions, hashtags, overlays, and metadata are evaluated together with the visual content. Attempts to bypass moderation using misleading captions or hidden context are prohibited.

Compliance with this policy directly impacts how content is distributed:

• Policy-compliant content may be recommended
• Borderline content may be limited in reach
• Violative content may be removed entirely

11. Monetization Eligibility

Only content compliant with these rules may be eligible for monetization, sponsorships, subscriptions, or promotional placement.

16. Policy Evolution

These rules may be updated to reflect new risks, technologies, or regulatory obligations. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of updates.
