This policy details how Vibble’s Search system ranks results, prevents manipulation, and ensures accuracy, safety, and fairness for users.
1. Purpose
The goal of Vibble Search is to provide accurate, safe, and relevant information while preventing spam, manipulation, and harmful content from appearing in results.
2. Search Ranking Signals
- Post relevance (keywords, hashtags, matching text)
- Account credibility and history
- Engagement quality—not raw engagement totals
- Freshness and recency
- User language, region, and personalization preferences
3. What Search Does Not Use
Vibble does not rank search results based on:
- Political ideology or personal beliefs
- Paid placements (Search ads are clearly labeled)
- Race, religion, or sensitive personal attributes
4. Integrity Safeguards
- Detection of bots, automation, and spam keyword stuffing
- Downranking of posts violating policy but not removed
- De-boosting accounts with repeated rule violations
- Filtering hateful or dangerous content
5. Removal of Manipulated Results
The Search system detects and removes:
- Coordinated keyword flooding
- Fake engagement campaigns
- Malicious trending keyword hijacks
6. Safe Search Features
- Default filters for minors
- Optional filtering of sensitive or graphic content
- Warning screens for borderline posts
7. Appeals & Transparency
Users may appeal incorrect downranking or mistaken exclusion from Search results.
