Organization Affiliation & Employee Badge Rules

These rules govern how verified organizations assign, manage, and maintain official affiliate badges for employees, departments, subsidiaries, and authorized representatives. This system strengthens authenticity, prevents impersonation, and protects brand identity across Vibble.

1. Purpose of Affiliated Account Badges

The Affiliation Badge program allows verified organizations to link multiple accounts under a single corporate identity. This ensures:

  • Clear identification of employees and official representatives
  • Reduction of impersonation risks across the platform
  • Transparent communication during crises or high-impact events
  • A unified brand presence across public-facing accounts

2. Eligible Affiliated Accounts

Organizations may issue affiliation labels to the following account types:

  • Employees: Staff members who represent the company publicly
  • Executives: CEOs, founders, directors, communications leads
  • Departments: HR, Support, PR, Security, Product teams
  • Subsidiaries: Sister companies, regional offices, partner divisions
  • Press Offices: Company newsrooms or media operations
  • Contractors & Spokespersons: Only when authorized in writing

3. Badge Types

Affiliated accounts may receive one of the following labels:

  • Employee Badge: Indicates the user is a verified member of the organization.
  • Department Badge: Applied to accounts representing internal teams.
  • Subsidiary Badge: Marks accounts belonging to legally connected entities.
  • Official Communications Badge: For press offices and official information channels.

4. Verification Requirements

Before adding an affiliated badge, organizations must verify:

  • The individual’s employment status
  • Official job title and department
  • Consent of the employee (opt-in required)
  • Consistency between organizational records and provided data

5. Documentation Required

Vibble may request one or more of the following:

  • Official HR confirmation or employment contract excerpt
  • Corporate email verification
  • Internal identity card or HR-approved confirmation letter
  • Organizational chart or directory listing

6. Affiliation Management Dashboard

Verified organizations receive access to the Vibble Enterprise Dashboard where administrators can:

  • Add or remove employee badges
  • Transfer badge ownership (e.g., role changes)
  • Review badge activity logs and badge assignment history
  • Configure permissions for each affiliated account
  • Enable/disable public association visibility

7. Badge Display Rules

Affiliated badges are displayed:

  • On the user's profile next to their name
  • In replies, reposts, quotes, and search results
  • In Spaces/Live audio sessions

Badges may not be removed or hidden by the user unless the organization revokes affiliation.

8. Misuse & Prohibited Conduct

Affiliation badges may NOT be:

  • Used to impersonate senior leadership or public officials
  • Sold, traded, or transferred outside official channels
  • Assigned to fan, parody, or unofficial enthusiast accounts
  • Used to promote fraudulent or unapproved communications
  • Applied to former employees without disclosure

9. Revocation of Affiliation

Organizations must revoke badges when:

  • An employee leaves the company
  • The user changes departments or no longer represents the brand
  • Misuse or policy violations occur
  • An account engages in misconduct or harmful behavior

10. Enforcement by Vibble

Vibble may independently remove affiliation if:

  • Evidence of impersonation or fraud arises
  • An organization fails a verification audit
  • Inappropriate badge assignment is detected
  • Multiple reports indicate harmful misuse

11. Appeals Process

Organizations or affiliated users may appeal badge removal within 30 days. Appeals will be reviewed manually by the Vibble Enterprise Integrity Team.
