Friendium Sexual Exploitation & Abuse Policy

This policy defines Friendium’s strict prohibitions against sexual exploitation, sexual abuse, coercion, trafficking, and non-consensual sexual conduct. Friendium enforces a zero-tolerance approach to protect users, uphold human dignity, and comply with global safety and criminal laws.

1. Purpose & Core Principles

Friendium, operated by Nexa-Group, exists to foster safe and respectful social connection. Sexual exploitation and abuse fundamentally violate these principles and pose severe harm to individuals and communities. This policy establishes clear boundaries, enforcement mechanisms, and reporting obligations.

2. Scope of This Policy

This policy applies to all users, pages, groups, events, private messages, comments, media uploads, and off-platform behavior that creates a credible on-platform risk.

3. Definitions

  • Sexual Exploitation: Abuse of power, trust, or vulnerability for sexual purposes, including coercion or manipulation.
  • Sexual Abuse: Non-consensual sexual conduct, harassment, assault, or threats of sexual harm.
  • Consent: A freely given, informed, reversible, and unambiguous agreement between adults.
  • Coercion: Pressure through threats, manipulation, financial leverage, or intimidation.

4. Absolute Prohibitions

Friendium strictly prohibits:

  • Sexual violence, assault, or threats of sexual harm
  • Non-consensual sexual content or imagery
  • Sexual extortion (“sextortion”) or blackmail
  • Human trafficking or facilitation of exploitation
  • Recruitment or solicitation for sexual services
  • Distribution of intimate images without consent
  • Sexual harassment involving power imbalance or intimidation

5. Non-Consensual Intimate Imagery (NCII)

Sharing or threatening to share intimate images without consent is prohibited, regardless of how the content was obtained. This includes “revenge porn”, manipulated media, and deepfake sexual imagery.

6. Sexual Coercion & Manipulation

Coercive behavior—such as pressuring users for sexual acts, leveraging financial dependency, or exploiting emotional vulnerability—is treated as severe abuse and may result in immediate account termination.

7. Commercial Sexual Exploitation

Friendium does not permit the platform to be used for prostitution, escorting, sexual services, or recruitment for exploitative activity. This includes coded language, indirect solicitation, or third-party facilitation.

8. Abuse Involving Power Imbalances

Abuse by individuals in positions of authority—such as employers, administrators, influencers, or group leaders—is subject to enhanced scrutiny and escalated enforcement.

9. Reporting Sexual Exploitation & Abuse

Users may report sexual exploitation or abuse through Friendium’s reporting tools or by contacting specialized safety teams. Reports are reviewed by trained personnel with priority handling.

10. Victim-Centered Response

Friendium aims to minimize re-traumatization by:

  • Allowing confidential reporting
  • Removing abusive content quickly
  • Restricting offender contact immediately
  • Providing guidance to external support resources

11. Enforcement Actions

Violations may result in:

  • Immediate suspension or permanent account removal
  • Content deletion and account feature restrictions
  • Cross-platform enforcement across Nexa-Group services
  • Referral to law enforcement when required by law

12. Evidence Preservation & Legal Compliance

Friendium may preserve data, logs, and content related to sexual exploitation cases for legal compliance, investigations, and victim protection.

13. False Reports & Abuse of Reporting Systems

Knowingly false or malicious reports may result in penalties. However, Friendium prioritizes safety and will not penalize good-faith reports.

14. International Legal Alignment

This policy aligns with international human rights and safety frameworks, including laws addressing sexual violence, trafficking, and online abuse.

15. Platform Discretion & Safety Overrides

Friendium reserves the right to restrict accounts, limit visibility, or remove access when credible risk of sexual exploitation exists, even in the absence of a criminal conviction.
