Swatting & Doxxing Prevention Policy

This policy explains how Vibble addresses doxxing (exposing private information) and swatting (false emergency reports), both of which can lead to serious real-world harm.

1. Doxxing Defined

Doxxing is the publication or sharing of another person’s private personal information without their consent and with malicious or intimidating intent. Examples include:

  • Home addresses, phone numbers, email addresses.
  • Private workplace details or schedules (when not public).
  • Government-issued ID numbers or financial data.
  • Private chat logs or images shared without consent.

2. Prohibited Doxxing Behavior

Vibble prohibits:

  • Posting or reposting doxxed data.
  • Linking to databases or documents sharing private information.
  • Threatening to “expose” someone’s personal information.

3. Swatting & False Emergency Reports

Swatting refers to making false emergency calls or reports designed to trigger an armed or dangerous police response. Using Vibble to plan, encourage, or celebrate swatting is strictly prohibited.

4. Enforcement & Escalation

Doxxing and swatting are serious violations that may result in:

  • Immediate content removal.
  • Permanent account bans.
  • Reporting to law enforcement when real-world risk is present.

5. Protecting Yourself

We encourage users to avoid sharing highly sensitive personal information on public profiles and to report doxxing attempts immediately.

6. Reporting

7. Policy Review

Vibble will continue to refine detection and response to doxxing and swatting threats as attack patterns and legal standards evolve.
