Rate Limiting & Abuse Prevention Policy
This policy defines how Vibble protects its platform from abusive automation, bot activity, scraping, and high-volume misuse of core posting or API features.
1. Purpose
Rate limits preserve platform stability, prevent spam waves, and stop automated abuse from overwhelming timelines, DMs, search systems, and APIs.

- Reply and quote-post limits
- DM rate limits for safety
- API request ceilings
- Login and authentication rate limits
3. Abuse Detection
- Behavioral anomaly scoring
- Machine learning detection for bot activity
- Mass creation / signup prevention
- IP-based & device fingerprinting heuristics
4. Violations & Enforcement
- Temporary slowdown or throttling
- CAPTCHA or identity verification
- Temporary posting lockouts
- Permanent account suspension for malicious abuse
