Intellectual Property Ownership Statement

This Intellectual Property (IP) Statement explains the ownership rights of creators, the permissions granted to Vexor, and the obligations of all users under global copyright and intellectual property laws. Vexor is operated by Nexa Group, the sole owner of all platform technologies, trademarks, and proprietary systems.

1. Ownership of User-Generated Content

All videos, images, audio files, livestreams, comments, text, metadata, and other materials uploaded to Vexor (“User Content”) remain the exclusive property of the creator who uploaded them. Vexor and Nexa Group do not assume ownership over any User Content at any time.

Uploading content to Vexor does not transfer, diminish, or compromise the creator’s copyright or moral rights. Creators may reuse, license, publish, or monetize their content anywhere outside Vexor without restriction.

2. License Granted to Vexor

To operate a global video-sharing platform efficiently, creators grant Vexor a limited, essential license to use User Content. This license allows Vexor to host, process, display, distribute, and promote content across the service. The license is:

  • Worldwide: Vexor may deliver and display content globally.
  • Non-exclusive: Creators remain free to license their work elsewhere.
  • Royalty-free: No payment is required for Vexor to host or process content.
  • Transferable: Allows technical delivery via partners (CDNs, cloud hosts).
  • Sublicensable: Necessary for allowing distribution through service providers, external embeddable players, or promotional materials.

These rights allow Vexor to:

  • Process and transcode videos into multiple formats
  • Generate thumbnails and previews
  • Deliver your content to users through recommendations and feeds
  • Promote your content in curated sections, categories, or marketing materials
  • Enable remix, duet, stitch, or collaborative content features (when enabled)

Vexor does not sell or commercially license User Content to third parties without explicit creator permission.

3. Duration of License

The license remains active for as long as your content is available on Vexor. Once you delete a post or remove your account, the license terminates except for:

  • Content stored temporarily in system backups (for security continuity)
  • Content preserved for legal, regulatory, or law enforcement obligations
  • Situations where a dispute, investigation, or claim requires preservation

Backup retention does not make the content visible to other users and does not grant Vexor additional rights beyond compliance obligations.

4. Creator Responsibilities & Copyright Compliance

Creators are solely responsible for ensuring they have the rights to upload any content. This includes:

  • Copyrighted music, videos, or images
  • Commercial content or branding belonging to others
  • AI-generated media using likenesses of real individuals
  • Content protected by trademarks, patents, or publicity rights

Uploading copyrighted material without permission may result in:

  • Content removal under DMCA or local copyright law
  • Account warnings or restrictions
  • Permanent suspension for repeated violations
  • Legal action by rights holders

Vexor complies with DMCA, EU Copyright Directive, and global IP laws.

5. Vexor's Intellectual Property & Platform Rights

All technologies, branding, and operational systems are the exclusive property of Nexa Group. This includes:

  • Vexor trademarks, logos, and visual branding
  • App UI, UX design, iconography, and layout
  • Recommendation algorithms and AI safety systems
  • Backend technologies, transcoding pipelines, and infrastructure
  • Developer APIs, documentation, and analytics tools
  • All business, legal, and policy documentation

You may not:

  • Copy or reproduce Vexor’s code or proprietary systems
  • Reverse-engineer the platform or algorithms
  • Use Vexor branding without written authorization
  • Exploit platform content outside allowed permissions

6. Use of Creator Content in Promotional Materials

With your permission (explicit opt-in), Vexor may use selected User Content in official marketing campaigns, app store previews, or promotional materials. Opt-in is required for:

  • Billboards, advertisements, or digital campaigns
  • Paid promotional placements
  • Use in global brand partnerships

This ensures creators retain full control over commercial usage.

7. Disputes & Claim Process

If you believe your copyrighted material is being used on Vexor without permission, you may submit a formal takedown request under the DMCA or equivalent national law.

Submit claims to:

Email: copyright@vexor.to

Addressed claims will result in removal, notification to the uploader, and a structured appeals process.
