1. Purpose & Scope

Vibble is committed to maintaining an environment where political dialogue can occur responsibly, transparently, and without manipulation. This policy applies to:

• Posts, images, videos, threads, and live audio spaces
• Political advertisers, publishers, journalists, and public figures
• Influence operations, coordinated inauthentic behavior, and automated activity
• Election periods defined by national, regional, or local authorities

2. Definition of Political Content

Political content includes any material related to:

• Elections, candidates, political parties, or political ideologies
• Voting methods, eligibility, polling locations, or election timelines
• Government institutions, legislation, public policy, or civic processes
• Public officials and political officeholders
• Advocacy related to civic engagement or political action

3. Prohibited Political Behaviors

Vibble does not allow political content or behaviors that threaten electoral integrity. Prohibited activities include:

• Coordinated inauthentic behavior or astroturfing operations
• Using bots or automation to influence political conversations
• Deepfake or synthetic videos portraying candidates deceptively
• Posts that mislead users about voting procedures or eligibility
• Content that impersonates government institutions or election authorities
• Political intimidation targeting voters or minority groups
• Paid political influence without transparency or disclosure

4. Election Misinformation Policy

Vibble removes or reduces reach of political misinformation that may cause harm, including:

• False claims about voting times, methods, or polling locations
• Statements discouraging or suppressing participation in elections
• Premature victory claims without credible official results
• False narratives intended to erode trust in election processes
• Manipulated media presented as factual political content

5. Political Content That May Receive Labels

Certain political posts may receive context labels, including:

• Election-related claims requiring verification
• Statements that may mislead without being outright false
• Satirical or parodic content that may be misinterpreted
• Official statements from verified governmental bodies

6. Enforcement Actions

Based on severity, Vibble may apply one or more actions:

• Content removal
• Strike assignment under the enforcement system
• Visibility reduction or downranking
• Labeling for context and safety
• Temporary posting restrictions
• Permanent account suspension for repeat or severe violations
• Disabling monetization for political content violating policies

7. Political Figures, Governments & Public Officials

Verified political accounts must follow heightened standards due to their influence on civic participation. Violations may result in escalated penalties or emergency restrictions.

8. Synthetic Media in Politics

Political deepfakes are subject to strict controls:

• Must be clearly labeled as parody, satire, or synthetic
• May not depict political candidates deceptively
• May be removed if presenting manipulated content as factual

9. Government Collaboration

Vibble works with election commissions, fact-checkers, civil society organizations, and crisis-response centers to mitigate harm.

10. User Tools & Reporting

Users may report inaccurate, misleading, harmful, or abusive political content via:

11. Appeals

Users may appeal moderation actions related to political content. Appeals are manually reviewed by Vibble’s Policy & Integrity Teams.
