Creator & Journalist Safety Policy
This policy describes how Vibble protects creators, journalists, and public-interest voices from harassment, coordinated abuse, doxxing, and other safety risks arising from their work on the platform.
1. Purpose & Scope
Vibble is home to creators, reporters, advocates, and experts who often engage with high-risk or polarizing topics. This policy provides additional safeguards and escalation channels for:
- Journalists, editors, and news organizations
- Creators with significant public exposure
- Civic actors and watchdog organizations
2. Protection Against Harassment & Brigading
Vibble prohibits coordinated harassment, including:
- Mass targeting via replies, reposts, or quote-post dogpiling
- Organized campaigns to silence, threaten, or intimidate journalists or creators
- Slurs, serious insults, or calls for harm targeting identifiable individuals
Reports from creators and journalists may be prioritized where clear evidence of harassment campaigns exists.
3. Doxxing & Exposure of Personal Information
Publishing private personal information (e.g., home address, personal phone, children’s schools) to threaten or harass is strictly forbidden. Vibble may:
- Remove content exposing private information
- Restrict or ban accounts engaging in doxxing
- Work with impacted users to secure accounts and provide response guidance
4. Threats & Incitement
Direct threats of violence, incitement, or glorification of attacks against creators or journalists will be treated as severe violations and may be escalated to law enforcement where appropriate.
5. Safety Tools & Controls
Creators and journalists are encouraged to use Vibble’s safety features, including:
- Blocking or muting users and limiting reply permissions
- Keyword filters to hide abusive replies
- Private or protected posting modes where applicable
- Limited DM settings to restrict who can contact them
6. Impersonation & Account Authenticity
Verified journalists, creators, and organizations benefit from stronger impersonation protections. Accounts pretending to be official media outlets, reporters, or creators may be removed under the Identity & Verification policies.
7. Government & Legal Pressure
Vibble is committed to supporting freedom of expression within the bounds of applicable law. Where governments or other actors seek to misuse legal or regulatory tools to silence creators or journalists, Vibble will:
- Require proper legal process for content removals
- Assess requests for overbreadth, jurisdiction, and human rights impact
- Notify users of requests where legally permitted

9. Partnerships & External Support
Vibble may cooperate with external press freedom organizations, creator safety groups, and digital rights NGOs to improve protections and provide referrals to external resources where appropriate.
10. No Special Exemptions from Core Rules
While Vibble may prioritize certain safety reviews, all users — including creators and journalists — must still comply with the Community Guidelines and may face enforcement actions for violations.
11. Updates to This Policy
Vibble may update this Creator & Journalist Safety Policy as threats evolve, new features are introduced, or legal requirements change. Updates will be posted with a revised effective date.
