Vibble Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains how Vibble uses cookies, SDKs, and similar tracking technologies on our website, apps, and services.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website or use a web-based service. They help Vibble recognize your browser, maintain sessions, remember preferences, and analyze traffic. We also use mobile SDK equivalents in our apps for similar purposes.

2. Types of Cookies We Use

  • Strictly Necessary Cookies: Required for core functionality such as login, security, and basic navigation. These cannot be disabled via cookie consent tools.
  • Performance & Analytics Cookies: Help us measure usage, identify issues, and improve performance.
  • Functionality Cookies: Remember preferences like language, theme, and saved settings.
  • Personalization Cookies: Support content relevance and recommendations on timelines, trends, and Explore.
  • Advertising & Campaign Cookies: Where applicable, support measurement of ad performance and frequency capping.
  • Security & Abuse-Prevention Cookies: Help detect fraud, spam, abuse, and unusual behaviors.

3. Third-Party Cookies

Some cookies are set by third-party providers that support our services, for example:

  • Analytics services and crash reporting tools.
  • Payment gateways and fraud prevention partners.
  • Content delivery networks (CDNs).
  • Marketing and ad measurement providers (where used).

These partners process data in line with their own privacy policies and our contractual requirements.

4. Legal Basis & Consent

In the EU/EEA, UK, and other relevant jurisdictions, Vibble uses:

  • Strictly necessary cookies based on legitimate interest or contractual necessity.
  • All other non-essential cookies only with your consent, obtained via a cookie banner or settings panel.

5. Managing Cookies

You can manage cookies in several ways:

  • Using Vibble’s cookie banner or preferences center (where available).
  • Adjusting browser settings to block or delete cookies.
  • Using OS-level privacy settings for mobile apps.

Blocking some cookies may impact your ability to sign in, load content, or use certain features.

6. Mobile SDKs & Device Identifiers

In mobile apps, we use SDKs and device identifiers (such as IDFA or Android Advertising ID, where permitted) for analytics, performance, and optional advertising. You can typically reset or limit these identifiers using your device’s privacy settings.

7. Do Not Track

Some browsers send “Do Not Track” signals. As there is no industry standard for DNT, Vibble does not currently respond to these signals, but we provide other opt-out and control mechanisms described above.

8. Data Collected Via Cookies

Cookies may collect:

  • Browser type, OS, and device information.
  • IP address and approximate location.
  • Session identifiers and login state.
  • Usage metrics such as page views, clicks, and scrolls.

This data is used in aggregated or pseudonymous form wherever possible.

9. Updates to This Cookie Policy

Vibble may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in law, technology, or our service. Updated versions will be posted with a new revision date.
