Friendium Account Authenticity Rules

These Account Authenticity Rules define the standards that ensure all accounts on Friendium represent real people, real relationships, and legitimate social presence. As a real-identity social network operated by Nexa-Group, Friendium prioritizes authenticity to protect users, reduce abuse, and preserve platform integrity.

1. Purpose & Scope

Account authenticity is a foundational requirement on Friendium. These rules exist to:

  • Prevent fake, deceptive, or misleading accounts
  • Reduce harassment, fraud, and manipulation
  • Support meaningful, trustworthy social interaction
  • Enable effective moderation and legal compliance
  • Protect users from impersonation and identity abuse

These rules apply to all personal accounts, legacy accounts, memorialized profiles, and any user-operated presence on Friendium.

2. Definition of an Authentic Account

An authentic Friendium account must:

  • Be controlled by a real individual
  • Accurately represent that individual’s identity
  • Operate in good faith
  • Engage in genuine social interaction
  • Comply with Friendium’s Real-Name & Identity Policy

3. Prohibited Inauthentic Behavior

The following behaviors are strictly prohibited:

  • Operating accounts on behalf of another individual without authorization
  • Maintaining multiple deceptive identities
  • Creating accounts solely to manipulate discussions or perception
  • Using automation to simulate human interaction
  • Engaging in coordinated inauthentic behavior
  • Misrepresenting personal attributes, affiliations, or intentions

4. Single-User Account Principle

Each personal account must be controlled by a single individual. Shared personal accounts, group-controlled personal profiles, or proxy-managed identities are not permitted.

Users requiring shared access must use officially designated pages or group features where available.

5. Profile Accuracy Requirements

Users are responsible for ensuring their profiles remain accurate and current. This includes:

  • Name and identity information
  • Profile images and descriptions
  • Biographical details
  • Relationship and affiliation indicators

Intentional misrepresentation may result in enforcement action.

6. Detection & Review Mechanisms

Friendium uses a combination of automated systems and human review to identify inauthentic accounts. Signals may include:

  • Unusual account creation or activity patterns
  • Repetitive or scripted interactions
  • Inconsistent identity indicators
  • User reports and complaints
  • Network behavior analysis

7. Verification & Confirmation Requests

Friendium may request verification when authenticity is in question. Verification may include:

  • Identity documentation
  • Contextual evidence of real-world presence
  • Account history and interaction review

Failure to cooperate with verification requests may result in account restrictions.

8. Permitted Edge Cases

Friendium recognizes limited scenarios where strict authenticity rules require nuance:

  • Memorialized accounts
  • Users with legal name changes in progress
  • Individuals with safety-based identity concerns

These cases are reviewed individually under applicable policies.

9. Enforcement Actions

Violations of these rules may result in:

  • Warnings and corrective requests
  • Temporary account restrictions
  • Removal of inauthentic content
  • Account suspension or termination

10. Appeals & Due Process

Users may appeal authenticity-related enforcement decisions. Appeals are reviewed by trained moderation teams and may involve additional verification steps.

11. Relationship to Other Policies

These rules are enforced in conjunction with:

  • Real-Name & Identity Policy
  • Fake Account & Misrepresentation Policy
  • Impersonation Prevention & Enforcement Policy
  • Community Standards

12. Legal & Regulatory Compliance

Friendium enforces authenticity rules to comply with applicable laws related to fraud, consumer protection, election integrity, and online safety.

13. Policy Evolution

Friendium may update these rules to address emerging threats, abuse patterns, or regulatory changes. Significant updates will be communicated where required.
