Friendium Community Standards

These Community Standards define the behavioral expectations, safety principles, and conduct rules governing all use of Friendium. They apply to every user, account type, interaction, and piece of content on the platform.

1. Purpose & Platform Philosophy

Friendium is a real-identity social networking platform designed to foster authentic human connection, civil discourse, and meaningful relationships. Unlike anonymous or pseudonymous networks, Friendium emphasizes accountability, dignity, and trust between users.

These Community Standards exist to protect users from harm, preserve a safe environment for expression, and ensure that Friendium remains a platform suitable for individuals, families, professionals, and communities worldwide.

2. Applicability & Scope

These standards apply to all activity on Friendium, including but not limited to:

  • User profiles, bios, and profile images
  • Posts, comments, reactions, and shares
  • Private messages and group communications
  • Events, pages, groups, and communities
  • External links and embedded content

Violations may be enforced regardless of whether the conduct occurs publicly, privately, or across multiple accounts.

3. Real-Identity Expectations

Friendium is built on the principle of real identity. Users are expected to:

  • Use their real name or a recognizable personal identity
  • Represent themselves truthfully
  • Refrain from impersonation or deceptive behavior
  • Maintain one primary personal account unless authorized otherwise

Attempts to evade enforcement, operate fake personas, or mislead others undermine platform integrity and may result in permanent suspension.

4. Respect, Dignity & Civil Interaction

Friendium requires users to treat one another with basic respect and dignity. The following behaviors are prohibited:

  • Harassment, bullying, or intimidation
  • Degrading or dehumanizing language
  • Targeted humiliation or coordinated harassment
  • Persistent unwanted contact

Disagreement and debate are permitted, but personal attacks and abusive conduct are not.

5. Safety-First Principle

Friendium prioritizes user safety over reach, virality, or engagement. Content or behavior that presents a credible risk of harm may be removed or restricted even if it does not violate a specific rule verbatim.

This includes conduct that may:

  • Encourage violence or self-harm
  • Exploit vulnerable individuals
  • Incite panic or mass harm
  • Endanger minors

6. Protection of Vulnerable Users

Friendium enforces heightened protections for:

  • Minors
  • Individuals experiencing mental health crises
  • Victims of abuse or exploitation
  • Marginalized or at-risk communities

Any attempt to exploit, groom, manipulate, or coerce vulnerable users will result in immediate enforcement action.

7. Content Responsibility

Users are responsible for the content they post, share, or distribute. Friendium does not permit:

  • Content intended to cause harm or fear
  • False representations of individuals
  • Invasion of personal privacy
  • Content that facilitates illegal activity

8. Groups, Pages & Community Leadership

Administrators of groups, pages, and communities are responsible for:

  • Enforcing Friendium policies within their spaces
  • Preventing abuse and harassment
  • Removing harmful or prohibited content
  • Cooperating with moderation requests

Failure to moderate responsibly may result in group or page removal.

9. Enforcement Actions

Violations of these Community Standards may result in one or more of the following:

  • Content removal
  • Warnings or educational notices
  • Temporary account restrictions
  • Loss of features or visibility
  • Permanent account suspension

10. Appeals & Review

Users may appeal enforcement actions through Friendium’s Appeals system. Appeals are reviewed by trained moderation staff or specialized teams depending on severity.

11. Cooperation With Law & Safety Authorities

Where required by law or necessary to prevent imminent harm, Friendium may cooperate with law enforcement or emergency services in accordance with its Law Enforcement Request Guide and applicable privacy laws.

12. Updates & Evolution

These Community Standards evolve as new risks, behaviors, and legal obligations emerge. Friendium reserves the right to update this policy to maintain safety, trust, and platform integrity.
