Account Deletion & Deactivation Policy

This policy explains how Vibble users may deactivate their accounts temporarily or permanently delete their accounts and associated personal data.

1. Deactivation

Deactivation temporarily hides your profile, posts, and interactions. Your username remains reserved, and you may reactivate the account at any time by signing in.

  • No content is deleted during deactivation
  • You will not appear in search or trends
  • DMs you sent remain visible to recipients

2. Permanent Deletion

Account deletion permanently removes all personal data, posts, media, messages, and profile content. This process is irreversible after the grace period ends.

3. Deletion Timeline

  • Account enters a 30–60 day recovery window
  • Content removed from public visibility immediately
  • Background erasure occurs within 30–90 days
  • Legal or tax-related data may be retained as required

4. Exceptions

  • Posts others have quoted or replied to may retain references
  • Legal holds or fraud cases may delay deletion
  • Financial transaction records cannot be erased
