Paid Subscriptions Policy

1. Purpose & Scope

ReelCiety allows eligible creators to offer paid subscription tiers that grant subscribers access to exclusive content, features, or community benefits. This policy establishes the legal, financial, operational, and safety rules governing such subscriptions.

This policy applies to all subscription-based features, including monthly memberships, premium creator feeds, exclusive stories, gated live content, subscriber-only messaging, and any future paid-access features introduced by ReelCiety.

2. Eligibility Requirements

To offer paid subscriptions, creators must:

• Maintain an account in good standing with no recent severe policy violations
• Meet minimum age and identity verification requirements
• Comply with tax, payout, and financial verification processes
• Provide accurate information about subscription benefits
• Adhere to all content, safety, and monetization policies

3. Subscription Tiers & Pricing

Creators may define one or more subscription tiers, subject to platform limits. Pricing must be:

• Clearly disclosed prior to purchase
• Inclusive of applicable taxes where required by law
• Transparent regarding billing frequency and renewal
• Free from deceptive or misleading claims

ReelCiety reserves the right to impose minimum and maximum pricing thresholds to prevent abuse, fraud, or market manipulation.

4. Subscriber Rights & Consumer Protections

Subscribers are entitled to:

• Clear disclosure of subscription terms and benefits
• Access to promised subscriber-only content
• Transparent billing and renewal notices
• Cancellation options in accordance with applicable law
• Protection from misleading or exploitative practices

5. Automatic Renewal & Cancellation

Subscriptions may auto-renew unless canceled by the subscriber. Creators and ReelCiety must ensure:

• Clear disclosure of auto-renewal terms
• Easy-to-access cancellation mechanisms
• Compliance with regional consumer protection laws
• No obstruction or dark-pattern practices

6. Content Standards for Subscription Content

Subscription-only content must comply with all ReelCiety policies, including:

• Community Guidelines
• Adult and sensitive content restrictions
• Child safety and exploitation prevention rules
• Intellectual property and licensing requirements

Paid status does not exempt content from moderation or enforcement.

7. Prohibited Practices

The following practices are strictly prohibited:

• Promising content that is not delivered
• Paywalling content obtained unlawfully or without rights
• Using subscriptions for harassment, manipulation, or coercion
• Exploiting parasocial relationships for financial pressure
• Charging for access to illegal or harmful material

8. Revenue Share & Platform Fees

ReelCiety retains a platform service fee from subscription revenue to support infrastructure, moderation, payment processing, and compliance. Revenue share percentages may vary by region, creator status, or promotional programs.

Nexa-Group reserves the right to modify fee structures with prior notice where legally required.

9. Taxes, Reporting & Withholding

Creators are responsible for complying with tax obligations arising from subscription income. ReelCiety may:

• Collect and remit applicable taxes
• Require tax identification documentation
• Withhold payouts pending compliance verification
• Report earnings to tax authorities as required by law

10. Refunds, Chargebacks & Disputes

Refund eligibility is governed by ReelCiety’s Refund Policy and applicable consumer laws. ReelCiety may issue refunds where:

• Content is not delivered as described
• Fraudulent activity is detected
• Legal or regulatory requirements apply

Excessive chargebacks may result in monetization suspension or account termination.

11. Enforcement & Suspension

ReelCiety may suspend or revoke subscription privileges for:

• Policy violations
• Fraud or deceptive practices
• Security or payment risks
• Legal or regulatory obligations

12. Account Termination Impact

If a creator account is terminated, active subscriptions may be canceled and subscribers may receive prorated refunds where required by law. Nexa-Group bears no liability for lost future earnings due to enforcement actions.

13. Data Protection & Privacy

Subscriber data is handled in accordance with ReelCiety’s Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws. Creators may not export, misuse, or resell subscriber information.

14. Risk Mitigation & Corporate Protection

This policy is structured to limit financial, regulatory, and reputational risk to Nexa-Group by establishing clear contractual boundaries, auditability, and enforcement authority.

15. Policy Updates

ReelCiety may update this policy to reflect changes in law, payments infrastructure, or platform features. Continued participation constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
