The email address associated with your ReelCiety account is used for authentication, account recovery, security notifications, and important service-related communications. Keeping this information accurate and accessible is essential for maintaining uninterrupted access to your account.
ReelCiety allows you to update the email address linked to your account through your account or profile settings. Email address changes are protected by verification measures to help prevent unauthorized updates.
How to Change Your Email Address
To update the email address associated with your ReelCiety account:
- Click your profile photo in the top-right corner.
- Select your username from the dropdown menu.
- Open Profile Settings or Account Settings.
- Locate the Email Address field.
- Enter your new email address and save the changes.
- Complete any verification steps sent to your new email address.
Once verification is completed, the new email address will be associated with your account.
Verification and Security
For security reasons, ReelCiety may require confirmation of email address changes. This helps ensure that only the account holder can update contact information.
Until verification is completed, certain account actions may be limited. If verification is not completed within the required timeframe, the change may be reverted.
Account Responsibility
You are responsible for maintaining access to the email address registered with your account. ReelCiety cannot restore access if you no longer have control over the email address on file.
If you believe your email address has been changed without authorization, you should immediately review your account security settings and contact support.
Important Notes
- Each email address may be limited to a single account.
- Disposable or temporary email addresses may not be supported.
- Email changes may temporarily sign you out of active sessions.
