Friendium Groups Policy & Admin Responsibilities

This Groups Policy & Admin Responsibilities document establishes the rules, obligations, enforcement standards, and governance framework for all Groups operating on Friendium. Groups are community spaces created by users, but they operate within the legal, safety, and integrity standards enforced by Friendium and its parent company, Nexa-Group.

1. Purpose and Scope

Friendium Groups are designed to support meaningful community interaction, shared interests, education, professional networking, and social engagement in a real-identity environment. Groups must operate in a manner that protects user safety, dignity, privacy, and legal compliance.

This policy applies to all Group creators, administrators, moderators, members, invited participants, and any content or activity occurring within Groups, regardless of Group visibility settings.

2. Legal Status of Groups

Groups are user-managed spaces but remain fully subject to Friendium’s platform-wide policies, Community Standards, and Terms of Service. Group creation does not confer ownership, autonomy, or exemption from enforcement.

  • Groups are not independent platforms
  • Groups may not establish rules that contradict Friendium policies
  • Private or secret Groups are not exempt from review

3. Eligibility to Create and Manage Groups

Only accounts in good standing may create or administer Groups. Friendium reserves the right to restrict Group creation based on account history, verification status, or risk assessment.

  • Accounts must represent a real individual or lawful entity
  • No history of severe policy violations
  • No active restrictions or enforcement actions

4. Responsibilities of Group Creators

Group creators bear primary responsibility for the governance of their Groups. This responsibility includes proactive moderation, rule enforcement, and cooperation with Friendium safety teams.

  • Setting clear Group rules aligned with Friendium policies
  • Appointing trustworthy moderators
  • Responding to reports in a timely manner
  • Preventing escalation of harm

5. Duties of Group Administrators and Moderators

Administrators and moderators act as stewards of community safety. Abuse of moderation powers is strictly prohibited.

  • Removing prohibited content
  • Managing member behavior
  • Preventing harassment, bullying, and hate speech
  • Escalating serious risks to Friendium

6. Prohibited Group Uses

Groups may not be used to facilitate or promote harmful, deceptive, or illegal activity. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Harassment campaigns or coordinated abuse
  • Extremist ideology, recruitment, or propaganda
  • Criminal activity or fraud
  • Doxxing or privacy violations
  • Medical, legal, or financial scams

7. Content Standards Within Groups

All content shared within Groups must comply with Friendium’s Content & Media Policies, regardless of Group privacy level.

  • No hate speech or discrimination
  • No violent threats or glorification
  • No sexual exploitation or abuse
  • No misinformation that may cause real-world harm

8. Private, Closed, and Secret Groups

Privacy settings affect discoverability, not enforcement. Friendium may review private or secret Groups when:

  • Credible safety reports are received
  • Legal obligations require access
  • Automated risk detection triggers review

9. Platform Oversight and Intervention

Friendium and Nexa-Group reserve full authority to intervene in Group activity when necessary to protect users, comply with law, or maintain platform integrity.

  • Content removal
  • Admin or moderator removal
  • Group visibility reduction
  • Group suspension or deletion

10. Enforcement Actions

Violations of this policy may result in enforcement actions against individuals, administrators, or the Group as a whole.

  • Warnings
  • Temporary restrictions
  • Permanent Group removal
  • Account-level penalties

11. Cooperation With Authorities

Where legally required, Friendium may preserve or disclose Group-related information to law enforcement or regulators in accordance with applicable laws.

12. Appeals

Group enforcement actions may be appealed through Friendium’s Appeals & Review Process. Abuse of the appeal system may result in additional penalties.

13. Policy Updates

This policy may be updated periodically. Continued use of Groups constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
