Your password protects access to your ReelCiety account and the personal information associated with it. Maintaining a strong, secure password is essential to prevent unauthorized access and protect your account activity.

ReelCiety allows you to change your password at any time through your account settings. Regularly updating your password is recommended, particularly if you believe your account security may be at risk.

How to Change Your Password

To update your ReelCiety account password:

  1. Click your profile photo in the top-right corner.
  2. Select your username from the dropdown menu.
  3. Open Profile Settings or Security Settings.
  4. Locate the Password section.
  5. Enter your current password and choose a new password.
  6. Save your changes to apply the update.

After saving, your new password will take effect immediately.

Password Requirements and Best Practices

For security reasons, ReelCiety may enforce password requirements such as minimum length, complexity, or uniqueness. These requirements help reduce the risk of unauthorized access.

Users are encouraged to choose a password that is unique to ReelCiety and not reused on other services. Sharing passwords or storing them insecurely may expose your account to risk.

Effect on Active Sessions

Changing your password may invalidate active login sessions on other devices. You may be required to sign in again on devices where your account was previously logged in.

This security measure helps ensure that only authorized users retain access after a password update.

If You Suspect Unauthorized Access

If you believe someone has accessed your account without permission, change your password immediately and review your security settings.

You should also review recent account activity and active sessions where available. If concerns persist, contact ReelCiety support for further assistance.

Important Notes

  • Password changes do not affect your account content or profile information.
  • For security reasons, ReelCiety cannot recover existing passwords.
  • Repeated failed login attempts may result in temporary access limitations.
