Reporting Illegal Content

This policy explains how users can report illegal content on Vexor and how Vexor, operated by Nexa Group, responds to criminal material, works with law enforcement, preserves evidence, and protects victims while maintaining privacy obligations.

1. Scope & Purpose

This policy applies to any content that may violate criminal law or pose serious risk. Examples include:

  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or minor exploitation
  • Terrorism, violent extremism, or recruitment
  • Doxxing or exposure of private personal data
  • Illicit trade (weapons, drugs, stolen goods)
  • Threats of violence or harm
  • Human trafficking or exploitation
  • Fraud, scams, financial crime, or coordinated illegal activity

2. How to Report Illegal Content

Users can report illegal content through the following channels:

  • In-App Reporting: Report button → “Illegal Content” / “Child Safety”.
  • Help Center: Submit a report via the “Report Illegal Content” form.
  • Email (Non-Emergency): law@vexor.to
  • Emergency Escalations: emergency@vexor.to

Include URLs, usernames, timestamps, and details to assist review.

3. Immediate Actions & Triage

High-risk reports (CSAM, imminent harm) trigger immediate escalation:

  • Content removal or disablement
  • Evidence preservation
  • Priority review by Safety Teams
  • Law enforcement notification where required

4. Child Safety & CSAM

Vexor has a zero-tolerance policy for CSAM:

  • Immediate removal
  • Mandatory reporting to authorities
  • Evidence preserved securely
  • Reporter's identity protected where allowed by law

5. Terrorism, Threats & Extremism

Vexor immediately removes extremist content or credible threats, escalates to counter-terrorism authorities, and preserves all relevant data.

6. Doxxing & Privacy Violations

  • Immediate removal of personal data posted maliciously
  • Victim support and guidance
  • Suspension or termination of repeat offenders

7. Evidence Preservation

For criminal investigations, Vexor securely preserves:

  • Original content files
  • Metadata (IP, device ID, timestamps)
  • Moderator notes
  • User reports
  • Relevant messages and logs

8. Working with Law Enforcement

Vexor cooperates with legally valid requests:

  • Court orders, subpoenas, emergency disclosures
  • Assessment of legal sufficiency and geographic scope
  • User notification when permitted
  • Strict data minimization and privacy principles

Summary statistics on illegal content reports, law enforcement requests, and enforcement actions will be included in Vexor’s Quarterly and Annual Safety Reports.

Vexor assesses illegal content based on jurisdiction-specific laws and may restrict or block content regionally where required.

15. Submitting Evidence Safely

  • Do not publicly repost illegal material
  • Use in-app reporting or encrypted submissions
  • Do not attempt to investigate offenders yourself
