Vibble Appeals System
This document explains how users can appeal enforcement decisions, how reviews are conducted, and how fairness, accuracy, and consistency are ensured across Vibble.
1. Purpose
The Appeals System ensures users have a formal, transparent, and fair process to request review of moderation actions, including content removal, feature restrictions, suspensions, and permanent bans.
2. Eligible Decisions
You may appeal:
- Content removals
- Shadowbans or visibility limitations
- Feature restrictions (posting, replying, DMs)
- Temporary suspensions
- Permanent account bans (case dependent)
- Badge removal or verification revocation
3. Appeals Process
- User submits appeal via in-app tools or email (appeals@vibble.com)
- Appeal is routed to a specialized review team separate from moderators
- The reviewer evaluates policy interpretation, context, and evidence
- A decision is issued: upheld, modified, or reversed
4. Requirements for a Valid Appeal
An appeal should include:
- A clear explanation of why the decision was incorrect
- Relevant content or contextual details
- Any applicable legal considerations (e.g., copyright exceptions)
5. Processing Timeline
Typical resolution times:
- Simple content appeals: 24–72 hours
- Account suspensions: 3–7 days
- Permanent ban reviews: 7–14 days
6. Limits
- Repeated abusive or fraudulent appeals may be rejected
- CSAM and terrorism cases are not appealable
- Legal removals ordered by governments may have no appeal rights
