ReelCiety Brand & Business Account Rules

These rules govern how brands, businesses, organizations, and commercial entities may create, operate, and promote accounts on ReelCiety. The policy is designed to protect users from deception, ensure transparency in commercial activity, and safeguard Nexa-Group and ReelCiety from regulatory, legal, and reputational risk.

1. Purpose & Scope

ReelCiety is a visual-first social platform that supports brand storytelling, marketing, and community engagement. These rules establish minimum standards for authenticity, disclosure, conduct, and accountability for all business-related accounts.

2. Definition of Brand & Business Accounts

A Brand or Business Account includes any account operated by:

  • Registered companies, corporations, or legal entities
  • Small businesses, startups, or sole proprietors
  • Media publishers and commercial content studios
  • Non-profit organizations and foundations
  • Agencies managing accounts on behalf of clients

3. Account Ownership & Authority

Brand accounts must be operated by individuals authorized to represent the entity. ReelCiety may require documentation to verify authority, including:

  • Business registration records
  • Domain-based email verification
  • Agency authorization letters
  • Proof of trademark ownership

4. Naming & Identity Standards

Brand and business accounts must use names that accurately reflect their identity.

  • Display names must match the brand or registered business name
  • Usernames must not impersonate competitors or unrelated entities
  • Misleading descriptors such as “official” may be restricted
  • Use of government or institutional terms is prohibited without authorization

5. Branding, Logos & Visual Assets

Visual branding must be lawful and accurate.

  • Logos must be owned or licensed by the account holder
  • Stock imagery must comply with licensing terms
  • Use of third-party trademarks without permission is prohibited
  • Imitation of another brand’s visual identity is not allowed

6. Commercial Transparency & Disclosures

Businesses must clearly disclose commercial intent.

  • Sponsored content must be labeled appropriately
  • Affiliate links must be disclosed
  • Paid partnerships must be transparent
  • Promotions must comply with local advertising laws

7. Advertising & Promotions

Brand promotions must comply with ReelCiety’s advertising and monetization policies. Prohibited practices include:

  • Deceptive pricing or false claims
  • Misleading before-and-after imagery
  • Unsubstantiated health or financial promises
  • Targeting minors with restricted products

8. Prohibited Brand Conduct

Brand accounts may not:

  • Engage in spam or mass unsolicited messaging
  • Coordinate harassment campaigns
  • Use bots or fake engagement
  • Misrepresent affiliations or endorsements

9. Political, Regulated & Sensitive Industries

Businesses operating in regulated sectors (finance, healthcare, alcohol, gambling, politics) may be subject to additional review and restrictions.

10. Account Management & Delegation

Brands are responsible for all actions taken by:

  • Employees
  • Contractors
  • Marketing agencies
  • Third-party tools

11. Enforcement & Sanctions

Violations may result in:

  • Content removal
  • Advertising suspension
  • Reach reduction
  • Account restrictions or termination
  • Referral to legal or regulatory authorities

12. Repeat or Severe Violations

Repeat violations or egregious misconduct may result in permanent account removal and loss of access to monetization or advertising features.

13. Appeals & Review

Businesses may appeal enforcement actions through the official appeals process. Appeals must be submitted by authorized representatives.

14. Legal & Regulatory Compliance

Businesses are solely responsible for complying with all applicable laws, including consumer protection, advertising standards, and data protection laws.

15. Policy Authority

ReelCiety reserves the right to interpret and enforce this policy at its sole discretion to protect platform integrity and user trust.
