ReelCiety recognizes the fundamental right of users to understand, access, and retrieve their personal data. This policy fulfills obligations under privacy frameworks including the GDPR, CCPA, and comparable international data protection laws, while maintaining security, platform integrity, and abuse prevention safeguards.

The Download Your Data feature is designed to balance transparency and user control with the need to prevent data misuse, impersonation, or circumvention of platform protections.

2. Eligibility & Access Requirements

Only verified account holders may request a data export. Requests are subject to identity verification to prevent unauthorized access or data leakage.

• Requests must originate from the authenticated account owner
• Additional verification may be required for sensitive data categories
• Repeated or abusive requests may be rate-limited or declined

A data export may include, depending on account activity and platform features:

• Uploaded photos, videos, captions, and metadata

• Direct message metadata (not including other users’ private data)

• Monetization and transaction records (if applicable)
• Support tickets and appeal history

4. Data Exclusions

Certain data may be excluded or redacted from exports to protect:

• Confidential safety or enforcement processes
• Internal security, fraud, or abuse detection systems
• Legally protected or privileged information

ReelCiety does not provide raw internal risk scores, moderation algorithms, or proprietary system data.

5. Request Process

Users may request a data export through account settings or by contacting ReelCiety support. The process includes:

• Submission of a verified request
• Identity confirmation
• Backend compilation of eligible data
• Secure delivery notification

6. Processing Timeframes

Data exports are processed within legally mandated timelines, typically within 30 days. Complex accounts or large data volumes may require additional time, in which case users will be notified.

7. Delivery Method & Security

Exported data is provided through secure download links or encrypted archives. Links are time-limited and expire automatically to prevent unauthorized access.

• Downloads are encrypted at rest and in transit
• Access logs are maintained for security monitoring
• Expired or unused downloads are automatically invalidated

8. User Responsibilities

Once data is downloaded, users are responsible for safeguarding their copies. ReelCiety is not responsible for breaches or misuse occurring outside its systems after lawful delivery.

9. Abuse Prevention & Limitations

To protect platform integrity, ReelCiety may:

• Limit the frequency of export requests
• Decline requests linked to fraud or impersonation attempts
• Delay delivery during active security investigations

10. Legal & Compliance Considerations

Data exports do not waive ReelCiety’s rights, intellectual property protections, or enforcement authority. Nexa-Group reserves the right to retain copies of exported data where required by law.

11. Policy Updates

This policy may be updated to reflect legal changes, platform evolution, or security enhancements. Continued use of ReelCiety constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
