Organization “Affiliated Accounts” System Policy

1. Purpose of Affiliated Accounts

The Affiliated Accounts system allows verified organizations to identify and link related accounts, such as:

• Official sub-brands or regional accounts.
• Employees and executives who publicly represent the organization.
• Special project, campaign, or event accounts tied to the organization.

The goal is to improve transparency for users and reduce confusion and impersonation.

2. Eligibility

• Only gold-badge verified organizations may sponsor affiliated accounts.
• Affiliated accounts must be in good standing and comply with Vibble policies.
• Affiliation may be granted to both individual and organizational accounts.

3. Linking Process

To link an affiliated account, the verified organization must:

• Initiate an affiliation request through the organization dashboard.
• Confirm the relationship (e.g., employee, department, project).
• Obtain explicit consent from the affiliated account owner.

Vibble may require additional verification for sensitive or high-risk affiliations.

4. Display of Affiliation

Once approved, Vibble may display:

• An “Affiliated with [Organization]” badge on the account profile.
• Links from the organization’s main profile to a list of affiliated accounts.
• Context labels on posts where necessary for clarity (e.g., “Employee of [Org]”).

5. Responsibilities of Organizations

Verified organizations sponsoring affiliations must:

• Ensure that affiliations are accurate and up to date.
• Remove affiliation when an employee or representative leaves the organization.
• Respond promptly to internal changes or disputes about affiliation.

6. Responsibilities of Affiliated Accounts

Affiliated accounts must:

• Accurately represent their relationship with the organization.
• Follow internal guidelines from their employer where applicable.
• Respect Vibble’s policies on harassment, misinformation, and conflicts of interest.

7. Misuse & Fraudulent Affiliation

Misuse of affiliation may include:

• Adding unrelated accounts to suggest false approval or endorsement.
• Using affiliation for scams, phishing, or deceptive promotions.
• Maintaining affiliations for individuals no longer associated with the organization.

Vibble may revoke affiliations, remove badges, or suspend accounts engaged in misuse.

8. Disputes & Removal Requests

Individuals or entities who believe they have been incorrectly listed as affiliated may request:

• Immediate removal of the affiliation tag.
• Internal review and clarification from the sponsoring organization.
• Escalation to Vibble Safety or Legal teams in case of abuse.
