Account Authenticity & Name Policy

1. Purpose & Platform Integrity

ReelCiety is a visual-first social platform operated by Nexa-Group. Trust, authenticity, and accountability are essential to maintaining a safe and credible environment for users, creators, advertisers, and partners.

This policy governs how individuals and entities represent themselves, how account names are chosen and displayed, and how ReelCiety evaluates authenticity during enforcement, safety reviews, and investigations.

2. Core Principle of Authentic Representation

Accounts must not mislead others about who is behind the account or what entity it represents. While pseudonyms, stage names, and creative identities are permitted, deception intended to confuse, impersonate, or defraud is strictly prohibited.

3. Permitted Account Identity Types

• Personal Accounts: Individuals using real names, pseudonyms, or stage names.
• Creator Accounts: Artists, influencers, photographers, and content creators.
• Brand & Business Accounts: Companies, products, organizations, and services.
• Fan, Parody, or Commentary Accounts: Subject to clear disclosure rules.

4. Account Name Rules

Account names (usernames and display names) must comply with the following:

• No impersonation of real individuals, brands, or organizations.
• No misleading use of official terms such as “official”, “admin”, or “support”.
• No deceptive formatting designed to appear verified or endorsed.
• No use of names that violate trademark or intellectual property rights.

5. Pseudonyms, Aliases & Creative Names

ReelCiety permits pseudonyms, aliases, and artistic identities, provided they are not used to mislead users into believing the account belongs to someone else.

Creators may operate under brand names or stage names without disclosing legal identities publicly, unless required by law or enforcement action.

6. Prohibited Misrepresentation

The following behaviors are strictly prohibited:

• Pretending to be another real person.
• Pretending to represent a business, government body, or organization without authorization.
• Using logos, imagery, or names to falsely imply affiliation.
• Operating accounts intended to deceive users for fraud, scams, or manipulation.

7. Account Ownership & Control

Each account must be controlled by the individual or entity it represents. Selling, renting, transferring, or sharing accounts for deceptive purposes is prohibited.

Organizations may designate authorized administrators but remain fully responsible for account activity.

8. Identity Signals & Risk Assessment

ReelCiety may evaluate account authenticity using a combination of:

• Behavioral patterns
• Account history and changes
• User reports and complaints
• Technical signals and metadata
• Cross-platform abuse indicators

9. Requests for Identity Clarification

In certain cases, ReelCiety may request additional information to confirm account authenticity, including:

• Email or phone verification
• Business documentation
• Proof of authorization for brand or organization accounts
• Identity confirmation for recovery or enforcement review

10. Privacy & Data Protection

Identity information collected for authenticity purposes is handled in accordance with ReelCiety’s Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws. Such information is not publicly displayed unless required by law.

11. Enforcement Actions

Violations of this policy may result in:

• Account name changes
• Profile corrections or disclosures
• Content removal
• Temporary account restrictions
• Permanent account removal

12. Appeals

Users may appeal enforcement actions related to account authenticity through ReelCiety’s Appeals System. Appeals must include accurate information and supporting context.

13. Legal & Corporate Authority

Nexa-Group reserves the right to enforce this policy to protect platform integrity, users, advertisers, and legal obligations.
