Sensitive Media Policy
This policy governs the use of graphic, violent, adult, and otherwise sensitive media on Vibble, including images, GIFs, and videos attached to posts and profiles.
1. Overview
Vibble is a real-time platform used for news, commentary, and creative expression. Some content may include sensitive media. We balance freedom of information with user protection, particularly for minors and users who do not wish to see graphic content.
2. Prohibited Media
The following media types are strictly prohibited and may result in immediate removal or bans:
- CSAM or any sexual content involving minors (real or synthetic).
- Non-consensual intimate imagery (“revenge porn”).
- Extremely graphic violence shared for shock or sadistic enjoyment.
- Sexual violence, rape, or torture content, whether real or staged.
3. Restricted / Labeled Media
Some media may be allowed but restricted behind interstitial warnings, age gates, or reduced visibility:
- Graphic violence in news or documentary contexts.
- Non-explicit adult content (e.g., suggestive clothing, partial nudity) not involving minors.
- Medical or educational content that includes surgical imagery.
Where tools exist, creators must label such media appropriately. Failure to self-label may result in forced labeling, reduced reach, or additional penalties for repeated non-compliance.
4. Profile Images & Banners
Sensitive media is not permitted in avatars, profile photos, or header images. Graphic or sexually explicit profile assets may be removed, and accounts may face restrictions.
5. Minors & Sensitive Media
We apply stricter rules when content features minors. Any sexualized depiction of minors is banned. Disturbing or violent content involving minors may be removed or heavily restricted, and accounts may be escalated to our Safety Team.
6. Distribution & Recommendations
Even when sensitive media is allowed, it may be:
- Excluded from trends, search highlights, and recommendations.
- Hidden by default behind a “Sensitive Content” warning.
- Blocked in certain regions depending on local laws.
7. Reporting Sensitive Media
Users can report any media they believe violates this policy using the “Sensitive/Graphic Content” options. Our teams prioritize media involving violence, sexual exploitation, and minors.
