Reporting Center Policy
This policy describes how Vibble’s reporting tools work, what happens after a report is filed, and how we prioritize and respond to different types of violations.
1. Purpose of the Reporting Center
The Reporting Center is Vibble’s central mechanism for users to flag content, accounts, and interactions that may violate our policies. Reporting helps us:
- Identify harmful behavior we may not detect automatically.
- Prioritize child safety, threats, and high-risk content.
- Improve detection models and enforcement accuracy.
2. What You Can Report
Users may report:
- Posts, replies, quote-posts, and reposts.
- Profiles, usernames, and bios.
- Direct messages (where enabled).
- Spaces / live audio sessions.
3. Report Categories
Report options include (non-exhaustive):
- Harassment or hateful conduct.
- Child safety or CSAM concerns.
- Self-harm or suicide risk.
- Sensitive or graphic media.
- Spam, scams, or platform manipulation.
- Impersonation or identity fraud.
- Illegal activities or threats of violence.
4. How Reports Are Processed
Once submitted, reports are routed through automated triage and human review systems:
- High-severity categories (CSAM, threats, self-harm) are prioritized and fast-tracked.
- Specialized teams handle child safety, terror content, and legal escalations.
- Lower-risk issues (e.g., spam) may be handled primarily via automation.
5. Confidentiality & Retaliation
Reporters’ identities are kept confidential and are not disclosed to the reported user, except where required by law. Retaliation against users for reporting is itself a policy violation and may result in enforcement.
6. Notifications & Outcomes
Where feasible, Vibble will notify reporters and reported users of outcomes, which may include:
- No action taken (if no violation found).
- Content removal or labeling.
- Limited visibility or feature restrictions.
- Account suspension or permanent ban.
7. Misuse of Reporting Tools
Repeatedly filing bad-faith or abusive reports (e.g., to silence others) is prohibited and may result in loss of reporting privileges or broader enforcement.
